Protecting Oregon’s Communities and Natural Resources from Wildfire

Our Mission

Oregon Regional Fire Safe Council is a non-profit organization, dedicated to protecting Oregon’s communities and natural resources from wildfire through fuel reduction, public outreach, and defensible space initiatives, driving meaningful change by leveraging resources and expertise to support impactful initiatives.

We are dedicated to helping communities prepare for and adapt to the realities of wildfire. As a developing organization, our mission is to support community-driven wildfire resilience by connecting local partners with information, resources, technical guidance, and funding opportunities as they become available.

Our vision is to build strong partnerships that encourage education, preparedness, and collaborative action. We strive to empower communities, landowners, and local organizations to reduce wildfire risk through outreach, planning, hazard mitigation, and projects that strengthen the resilience of homes, landscapes, and neighborhoods.

As we grow, the Oregon Regional Fire Safe Council will work to foster a network of communities committed to living more safely with wildfire by promoting proactive planning, shared responsibility, and long-term resilience.
